Look me in the eyes and say you don't love me.
The Philippine Tarsier is one of the smallest primates in the world and is believed to have been around for more than 45 million years.

These nocturnal animals tend to stay extremely hidden and are normally only active at night when hunting insects to eat. So if you haven't heard of them before, that might be one of the reasons. The other could be the fact that these endangered species, which used to be common in rainforests around the world, now only exist on a few islands in the Philippines.

While they may be few in number, they definitely stand out. According to the Guinness Book of Records, they hold the record for the largest set of eyes. However, those large eyes  are fixed in their skull -- meaning they can't turn in their sockets. Instead, much like an owl, a special adaptation in the neck allows them to rotate their head 180 degrees.

Their celebrity look-a-like might not be able to do that, but she does have a similar set of eyes.

Zooey Deschanel

This is my surprised face.

See the resemblance?
